Several of our physicians are consultants to professional, college, and numerous high school athletic programs. We also take care of a large population of pediatric, adolescent, “Weekend Warrior”, middle age and retiree athletes.

In the Pensacola area, many of our patients maintain extremely active lifestyles throughout their lives. We therefore think of Sports Medicine as a subspecialty that addresses injuries of active people of all ages.

Sports Medicine is frequently thought of as “Sports Surgery.” In reality, it is more often about rapid diagnosis, patient education, coordination of rehabilitation, and non-operatively returning the athlete of all ages to full desired participation as quickly as possible. Of course there are times when surgery becomes necessary.
