Dr. Morrison is a specialist in hip and knee disorders caused by arthritis and traumatic injuries.  He adds valuable knowledge and skills to the Gulf Coast Orthopedic Specialists team.  Dr. Morrison has experience in the latest procedures including hip resurfacing, complex total joint revision, and less invasive/muscle sparring surgery of the lower extremity.  Dr. Morrison joins Dr. Dabezies as the only two fellowship trained Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint surgeons in the Pensacola area. In addition, he offers a full spectrum of orthopaedic services to include: trauma/fracture care, arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder and other soft tissue procedures.

Dr. Morrison was born and raised in the Detroit area. He attended the University of Michigan where he majored in chemistry with his primary focus being physical chemistry.  Dr. Morrison then attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by his residency training at Garden City Hospital of the Michigan State University State wide Campus System.  He completed his education by receiving his adult reconstruction fellowship training at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Morrison is a clinical instructor at Michigan State University.  He has lectured at multiple major Universities and has also co-authored two textbook chapters for publication this fall.  He continues to hold interest in orthopaedic research.

He and his wife recently moved to Pensacola and are excited to begin their family and new lives here.
