Dr. Dabezies’ specialties are total joint replacement for the hip and knee to relieve arthritis pain. He is the only fellowship trained joint replacement surgeon in the Pensacola area.  Dr. Dabezies takes pride in applying his surgical skills and training to achieve the best outcomes possible for patients with complex hip and knee problems.    He is trained in the newest devices and minimally invasive techniques allowing patients to return to an active lifestyle within a relative short amount of time.

Dr. Dabezies spent an extra year of training to do a fellowship at the highly recognized University of California, San Diego fellowship for Adult Reconstruction. 

Dr. Dabezies’ strong passion for orthopaedic surgery was instilled in him by his father who became the chairman of the Texas Tech Orthopedic Surgery resident training program in Lubbock, Texas.  The mixture of hands on skills to perform the surgery and the knowledge of the best techniques make him a valuable surgeon in the Pensacola and Panhandle region.  

Dr. Dabezies was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.  His heritage is French (not Cajun).  In his free time he likes to cook and wrote a cookbook of family recipes. Dr. Dabezies enjoys fine dining and keeps a list of recommended restaurants of the New Orleans area.  He and his wife enjoy raising their young children in the Panhandle area and coaching recreational sports.
